Bike, hike, cruise and kayak your way through Cambodia on this epic multi-activity adventure, traversing along the majestic Mekong River. Starting in Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s capital, you’ll cycle around Koh Dack Silk Island, before transferring to Kratie on the banks of the Mekong River, home of the famous Irrawaddy Dolphins. Here, we trail alongside the river passing through a diverse range of fauna and flora, settling in for a night in a traditional homestay. After taking a boat trip to see the elusive dolphins, you’ll kayak downstream to the flooded forests of the Ramsar Wetlands, which is a famous spot for birdwatching. Next, take a full day hike to Kaoh Piek, before heading west to Siem Reap to see the magnificent Angkor Wat temple, where we explore the complex by bike. For one last final adventure, we hike the Kulen Mountain for panoramic views of the Cambodian countryside, before tucking into a farewell dinner in Siem Reap.

Day 1Arrival in Phnom Penh
Welcome to Cambodia’s capital! Enjoy an evening dinner at a traditional Khmer cuisine and have a briefing about your tour.

Day 2Phnom Penh – Kampong Cham
Explore Silk Island by bike, before crossing the Mekong River by ferry for your transfer to Kampong Cham.

Day 3Kampong Cham – Kratie
Transfer to Kratie and cycle along the Mekong Trail, passing through a biodiversity hotspot of verdant rice paddies and traditional villages. Settle into your homestay on Trong Island.

Day 4Kratie – Steung Treng
We see the stunning Irrawaddy Dolpins, enjoying the views of the real Cambodian countryside as you sail down the Mekong to Steung Treng, Cambodia’s most remote province.

Day 5Steung Treng – Rattanakiri
Head north to the rustic village of O’Svay, and enjoy a full-day kayaking through remote flooded forests and beautiful birdlife.

Day 6Rattanakiri – Koah Piek
Trek through lush jungle and isolated footpaths to Koah Piek, pausing at a hilltop for a view into the forest canopy.

Day 7Kaoh Piek – Siem Reap
Take a full day’s drive to Siem Reap, taking an early morning shopping stop at Banlung Market.

Day 8Siem Reap
Head out by bike to the Ruluos temples before going cross country to Angkor Wat, stopping at key sights along the way such as Angkor Thom and the iconic Bayon, finishing with a sunset on the hill over Phnom Bakeng.

Day 9Siem Reap
We ride to Kulen Mountain, taking in historical sites along the way, then begin our trek through thick jungle to the peak, where we swim in a refreshing waterfall. Enjoy a farewell dinner.
