Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu
Welcome to Kathmandu! Upon your arrival at Kathmandu airport, our team will warmly greet you and assist with transferring you to your hotel. Once you have settled in, the remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure, providing an opportunity to relax and familiarize yourself with the surroundings. Take this time to unwind and prepare for the exciting journey ahead. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 2
Dolalghat to Pachuwarghat Rafting
After breakfast, we'll drive from Kathmandu to Dolalghat (approx. 3 hours), where our rafting adventure begins. Our experienced guide will provide safety instructions and equipment details. Get ready for an exhilarating day on the Sunkoshi River, starting with smooth rapids at the confluence of the Bhotekoshi and Indrawati rivers. As the day progresses, we'll conquer thrilling Class III rapids and set up camp at Pachuwarghat.Rafting: approx. 4 hours
Day 3
Pachuwarghat to Chainpur Rafting
We'll continue our rafting adventure from Pachuwarghat to Chainpur, encountering exciting Class II and Class III rapids along the way. As we paddle downstream, we'll witness the beauty of the Nepali countryside, pass by the Hindu Holy temple Kusheshwor, and catch a glimpse of the BP Highway and traditional Majheee Gaun - Fisher’s village. After reaching Chainpur, we'll set up camp at the riverbank and enjoy a well-deserved dinner.Rafting: approx. 5-6 hours
Day 4
Chainpur to Jhagre Rafting
Today presents a more challenging section of the Sunkoshi River as we paddle from Chainpur to Jhagre. The water volume increases, and we'll face rapids such as Meat Grinder (Class IV), Punch (Class IV), Judy (Class III), Pre-anxiety (Class III), and Anxiety (Class IV). Despite the thrilling rapids, we'll find time to relax and set up camp in Jhagre.Rafting: approx. 5-6 hours
Day 5
Jhagre to Raighat Rafting
After breakfast, we'll start our rafting adventure for the day. As we paddle, we'll encounter the Dudha Koshi River joining the Sun Koshi River. Soon, we'll face the famous Harkapur I & II rapids, rated Class V. Continuing our journey, we'll navigate the confluence of the Dudh Koshi and Sunkoshi rivers, a seasonal route accessible during rafting season only. We'll then reach Raighat, where we'll conclude the day's rafting, set up camp on the beautiful beach, and enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.Rafting: approx. 6 hours
Day 6
Raighat to Rasuwaghat Rafting
After breakfast, we'll raft towards our final destination, Rasuwaghat, located in the eastern region of Nepal. Today's rafting track promises thrilling rapids, including the Class IV Jawas Rapid and the infamous "Dead Man Eddy." The highlight of the day is the Rhino Rock rapid, a Class IV rapid that resembles a charging rhinoceros. Depending on the river's water level, this rapid guarantees an exciting and memorable experience. Our expert rafting guide will lead us through this adventure. We'll conclude our rafting journey at Rashuwaghat, where we'll set up camp on the beach of the Sunkoshi River, enjoy dinner, and spend the night in Rasuwaghat.Rafting: approx. 6 hours
Day 7
Rasuwaghat to Biratnagar - Fly to Kathmandu
After the breakfast, drive to the nearby Biratnagar Airport (approx. 2-hour drive), followed by a flight back to Kathmandu. Our team will transfer you to your hotel, allowing you to relax and enjoy the remaining time in Kathmandu.
Day 8
Departure from Kathmandu
After breakfast, check out and get ready to depart for Kathmandu International Airport for your onward journey back home or to your next destination.Share this tour!
